Transition of Power

On January 6, 2021 the world witnessed the type of behavior that we all thought was ancient history. I haven’t really wanted to write anything here while facts were still coming out. However the House of Representatives has already impeached President Trump a second time.

I will not speculate on what will happen in the Senate vote.

We are rapidly approaching Inauguration Day, and I am unsure of what will happen.

These are truly scary times in the United States, and in the world because of covid-19, but also the rise of misinformation and white supremacy groups.

Those are words I didn’t think I would be writing in 2021 when I signed up for journalism school in 2016.
