RIP Earl “DMX” Simmons”

Outlets reported DMX’s passing on Friday, after speculation around his passing started as early as Thursday. The rapper was 50 years old.

“The snake, the rat, the cat, the dog How you gonna see him if you livin' in the fog?”

This line is about the temptations of the devil. DMX was a Christian, but also his substance use issues ultimately contributed time his early death.

Don’t remember him for this loss, but for how he fought against it for so long, and kept coming on top throughout his career. I send my condolences to his family.
