Life/Career Update 5/13

Here’s a short life update since I haven’t been able to write on here in a while. It has been around one year since I graduated from Ohio State, but unfortunately I still have not found work in journalism. However, I’ve accepted a new full time position in my current industry, which includes a pay raise! I am thankful and grateful for everyone who has supported me, and hopefully my journalism dreams are awaiting me in the future. But for now, I am ecstatic to do the best job I can do within my current industry.

I work in the food industry, which is hard work and long hours. I hope one day to be in my customers shoes; able to work in an position that allows the flexibility to go out to eat. But in the media industry, it is not all about credentials, but also who you know. Hopefully I am blessed with a new opportunity soon.

With all that being said, let’s get back to work now that almost everyone has been vaccinated.
